The CEL-320S is a new concept in hand held noise meters. In its standard configuration with the CEL-425 stalk microphone it can be used as a simple integrating sound level meter. By the addition of the CEL-6681 cable microphone the dual function instrument is converted into a fully functional noise dosimeter. As a sound level meter the CEL-320S measures and displays the instantaneous level, the minimum and maximum level and the time average level, sound exposure level and peak level.

The CEL-360S is a fully functional data logging sound level meter that doubles as a personal noise dosimeter.  It can be used in a wide variety of applications that require the time history variation of the noise levels to be investigated.  Up to 10 different noise parameters can be stored for every interval with a resolution of 1 second to 1 hour. Results can be downloaded to the included software program to view the temporal changes and allow for a full understanding of the noise climate.

The CEL-430 Integrating sound level meter is a new design that encompasses many of the benefits of the existing CEL-450 and CEL-490 products in a simple and easy to use meter.  All DSP technology ensures that the whole of the audio range of noise levels are covered by a single dynamic span.  This eliminates the need to change ranges during a measurement and ensures that all the noise is captured faithfully and included in the overall result.  All the most popular noise units are simultaneously calculated during the measurement and can be read off the large display or recorded for later download to the optional software package.

The CEL-450 is a new concept in sound level meters offering the power of digital signal processing (DSP) technology in a small lightweight unit.   One of the major benefits of the CEL-450 is the ease with which it can make full range noise measurements in difficult situations such as those encountered with transient sources. These can include impacts, pass-by testing of vehicles, flyover tests for aircraft, shooting ranges and other similar difficult to measure noise sources.

The CEL-490 is the ultimate instrument for long term community noise measurements where wide changes in levels are expected to occur.  Previous generations of noise meters require the user to make a decision on the likely noise levels to be expected during the measurement.  Select too high a range and the low background levels will be missed.  Choose to low a range and the important peak levels will cause overloads and consequent errors.  The single 140 dB range available in the CEL-490 enables worry free measurements over the whole audio range.
